Rev. Andrea J. Heyward is the Assistant Pastor of Dabar (pronounced “Daybar”) Christian Center in Chesapeake, Virginia along with her husband and Senior Pastor, Rev. Keith D. Heyward.
A sober and even-tempered woman, she loves God with all of her heart, soul and mind and has shown herself to be faithful in the service of the Lord. Pastor Andrea is a loyal representative of Jesus Christ who understands that decisions are life changing and it is only the Word of God that can direct us. She is a disciplined student of the scriptures and an anointed preacher who is fit and able to rightly divide the Word of God.
Pastor Andrea was ordained to the ministry in 2002 by the Presiding Prelate of Covenant Fellowship Alliance, Bishop H. Curtis Douglas, and served diligently in New York until sent out along with her husband to pastor a branch church in Chesapeake.

She has been teaching and preaching the Word God, traveling nationally and internationally as a requested speaker in Trinidad, St. Etienne and Eybens, France, Aruba, and Belize. In everything she does, her goal is to see souls saved and lives changed.
Pastor Andrea and Pastor Keith have been happily married since 1989 and have two daughters: Ashlee and Amber.
